Celebrating Creative Expression in the Down Syndrome Community

Sponsored by the Pujols Family Foundation and Leftovers Etc.

Our goal is to provide access to a learning environment that offers educational and socialization opportunities and appropriate physical activities that encourage exercise and interactions with others. Programs are available to children and adults.

All of the programs provided by the organization are designed to offer the following:

Encourage children to try different activities until they find one that's really enjoyable.

Set short-term goals that let children succeed quickly.

Emphasize participation over skill and competition.

Praise the children for their accomplishments.

Enrich and enhance what children learn in the home and in a public/private school environment.

The cost of these programs are as listed:

The rate for all ¾-hour dance, music and theater classes is $50.00/month. Fifth week class is free.

The rate for all 1-hour dance, music and theater classes is $58.00/month. Fifth week class is free.

Leftovers is donating to this partnership $10.00 per month for each child’s dance, music and theater classes. The Pujols Family Foundation and the participating family will split the remaining cost per month for each child’s dance, music and theater classes.

As a result, YOUR COST of these programs are as listed:

The rate for all ¾-hour dance, music and theater classes is $20.00/month. Fifth week class is free.

The rate for all 1-hour dance, music and theater classes is $24.00/month. Fifth week class is free.

Reservations should be made as early as possible. A deposit must be made at the time of registration.

Changes in reservations must be made in writing (e-mail acceptable) and received no later than 48-hours prior to the scheduled class.

We are unable to offer food and drink on the premises. Feel free to bring your own water bottles.

Workshop cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance. Cancellations later than designated will result in loss of your deposit.

Check/cash deposits must be made in person or we accept credit card payment by phone.

Volunteer opportunities are available for those who wish to participate in other aspects of the Leftover’s etc. project. This will provide children with a sense of responsibility and 'giving back' to the community. Arrangements for this program must be made with Sandy O’Dell, Executive Director, Leftovers, Etc.

All matching grants are for people with Down syndrome only. Any other family members participating will be charged at standard rates.
