On the afternoon that Albert set the Major League Baseball record for most homeruns in the month of April, Deidre was speaking at the Christian Family Expo at Queeny Park in St. Louis.
Deidre shared the story of her reckless youth, having a child with Down syndrome, meeting and marrying Albert Pujols, and life in the Big Leagues.
The Pujols Family Foundation also had a booth at the expo, giving away literature, stickers and baseball cards. Speaker and Author, Nina Fuller was also at our booth. She was signing her new book 'Special Strength for Special Parents' each day of the event.
